Learn From the Past — Grow and Educate for the Future
September 9th, 2007 | Filed under Press ReleasesCase-Barlow Farm is forming a historical garden study group. The purpose of this group will be to look back to gardens of the past and try to incorporate those philosophies. The group will plant, maintain, and redesign the farm's current garden. It is not about the latest trends or technology; it is about our heritage and how our ancestors might have made use of their gardens.
There will be something for everyone; come prepared to share ideas, learn, teach, and participate. We may have occasional speakers and take a few field trips. There will be no membership fees, and the group will meet every month from spring through fall. There will also be weekly work sessions in the garden for those that choose to participate during the peak season.
Please email the farm if you have any questions.
